Monitoring Reports & Survey

As part of the Travel Plan, King Goerge’s Vale is required to monitor the uptake of sustainable travel over a 5-year period. This monitoring will inform the success against targets which are to be agreed with Hertfordshire County Council.

Monitoring will be in the form of multi-modal traffic surveys each year throughout the monitoring period. This survey will determine the level of different forms of travel undertaken by residents and will help to understand if there are any barriers to particular types of travel. The results will be reviewed, and monitoring reports will be produced to understand the effectiveness of the Travel Plan which allow for any changes to be made.
