Bus Travel

King George’s Vale is located only 60m and 100m from bus stops on Northaw Road East.

From here you will be able to access bus service 242 (Waltham Cross – Cuffley – Potters Bar). You have the opportunity to travel to several destinations via the no 242 bus service, including Cuffley railway station and Waltham Cross bus station. This bus service also stops at Woolside Primary School, Goffs Academy Secondary School and Bishops College, which therefore provides a sustainable alternative mode of transport for pupils.

For those that are of a State Pension age, you are entitled to a free bus pass. This bus pass entitles you to free travel on bus services throughout England from 09:30am to 11:00pm Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on public holidays.

Cuffley is your closest station and located 950m to the north of King George’s Vale. At this station there are 18 cycle spaces and a 272-space car park. From Cuffley there are opportunities to travel Moorgate, Stevenage and London Waterloo.
